Warner Park Madrid

If you’re looking for guaranteed fun in Madrid, Parque Warner is the perfect place! Inspired by Warner Bros. films and characters, the park offers amazing attractions for all ages. Here, we’ll cover how to get there, tickets, main attractions, fun facts, where to eat, and some tips to help you make the most of your visit. Let’s go!

How to Get There

Parque Warner Madrid is located in San Martín de la Vega, about 30 km from Madrid city centre. Although it’s a bit outside the city, getting there is quite easy:

By Car

Take the A-4 (Autovía de Andalucía) and exit at junction 22, following the signs to the park. Parking is spacious but requires payment, so it’s best to book in advance on the website to avoid queues.

Public Transport

Take the train to Pinto station, then a direct bus to the park. Bus line 413 also runs from Madrid city centre to the park.

Excursions

Many tour agencies in Madrid offer excursion packages with transport included.

Tickets

Tickets can be purchased online or at the ticket office. Buying online is always a good idea to avoid queues and take advantage of discounts. There are different types of tickets available:

  • Day tickets, for a full day of fun.
  • Annual passes, for those who want to return multiple times throughout the year.
  • Special packages, which combine park tickets with other attractions in Madrid.

Best Time to Visit

The best time to visit Parque Warner is in spring (April to June) and autumn (September to November), when the weather is milder and the park is less crowded. Avoid July and August, as it is peak season, and the heat can be intense.

Main Attractions

Parque Warner is divided into exciting themed areas, offering attractions for all interests:

  • Hollywood Boulevard – Located at the entrance, it makes you feel like you’re in Hollywood, complete with a Walk of Fame.
  • Cartoon Village – Full of magic that children (and some adults like me) absolutely love.
  • Movie World Studios – Designed like a film set, featuring the best live shows and, personally, my favourite roller coaster.
  • Old West Territory – A Wild West-themed area with the best water rides.
  • Super Hero World – The zone where you can meet your favourite superhero while enjoying the park’s most thrilling attractions.

Some of the must-see attractions include:

  • Superman: La Atracción de Acero – A thrilling roller coaster with seven inversions, a 55-metre free fall, and the largest vertical loop in Europe.
  • Batman: Shadows of Arkham – An exhilarating inverted roller coaster that reaches speeds of over 80 km/h, making it one of the most intense rides in the park.
  • Coaster Express – The tallest and longest wooden roller coaster in Europe, with a track over 1 km long. But don’t assume that being wooden makes it any slower—this coaster reaches 95 km/h and is guaranteed fun. Plus, it’s smoother than other wooden coasters I’ve been on—definitely a bonus!
  • Stunt Fall – My personal favourite, this free-fall simulation roller coaster is extremely fast, reaching almost 120 km/h, with a 65-metre drop and a boomerang effect that will leave you holding your breath until the very end.
  • Batman: Gotham City Escape – The newest attraction in the park, and seriously intense. It features high-acceleration zones and several inversions.
  • Cataratas Salvajes & Río BravoParque Warner has some of the best water rides I’ve ever experienced, so don’t miss the chance to enjoy them and cool off at the same time.
  • Looney Tunes Children’s AreaPerfect for young children, with rides and characters such as Bugs Bunny and Daffy Duck.
  • Live Shows – Highlights include the Police Academy Stunt Show and the end-of-day parade, where all the characters make an appearance.

Where to Eat

There are plenty of delicious options to satisfy your hunger at Parque Warner, with choices to suit different budgets.

  • In the Looney Tunes area, you’ll find several fast-food options and sweet treats perfect for children.
  • Restaurante Hollywood offers international dishes in a cinema-themed setting.
  • If you love burgers and quick bites, Gotham City Grill is the place to go.
  • For a classic American diner experience, Coyote Diner serves a variety of snacks and drinks.

Tips

  • Arrive early – This way, you can make the most of your day and avoid long queues.
  • Wear comfortable clothes – The park is large, so dress comfortably.
  • Closed-toe shoes are recommended, and avoid loose accessories that could fly off or cause discomfort on thrill rides.
  • Use sunscreen – Most attractions are outdoors, and if you’re visiting in the summer months, the sun can be intense.
  • Get a park map – Pick up a map at the entrance to help navigate the park. Even better, download the official app for an interactive map and live updates on queue times and show schedules
  • .Consider a Fast Pass – If visiting during summer or weekends, a Fast Pass is worth considering to skip queues at the most popular rides.

A visit to Parque Warner Madrid is guaranteed fun for the whole family. With these tips, you’re all set for a day full of excitement and adventure. Enjoy!
