The Blackworks Weekend Festival returns in 2026 with the Dimension Edition theme. The event, focused on rave culture, offers a two-day immersive experience, gathering thousands of techno and, primarily, hard-techno fans. Known for its strong visual identity and focus on the heavier subgenres, Blackworks has become a benchmark in the Madrid scene.

Sun and Snow Weekend – April 17-19
Sun&Snow Weekend has one of the most unique concepts in Spain. The festival brings electronic music to the top of the Sierra Nevada mountains in Granada, right in the middle of ski season. The experience is focused on enjoying the snowboard and ski slopes by day and attending DJ performances on stages set up directly on the snow.
Where: Sierra Nevada National Park (Granada). The main activities are usually concentrated in Pradollano and the Los Peñones area.
How to get there: To get to Los Peñones, use the shuttle bus with tickets available in Pradollano or online. To access the stage located high on the mountain, a cable car pass is required, which can be purchased online or in Pradollano.
Pradollano is the main urban hub and tourist center of the Sierra Nevada ski resort, located in the province of Granada, Spain.
When: 17th, 18th and 19th of April 2026
How much: The first release is available with a 3-day General Admission pass from €71.50 each, and a 3-friends pack at €60.50 each.

FURY Hard Techno Festival – April 24
FURY is an event specifically dedicated to hard techno in Madrid. After a sold-out first edition in 2025, the festival returns to IFEMA MADRID in 2026. The concept is centered on the faster and heavier subgenres of techno, featuring an industrial aesthetic and large-scale audiovisual production.
Where: IFEMA Madrid
When: April 24, 2026. (It is a one-night event, from Friday to Saturday, 10 PM to 6 AM).
How much: 2026 tickets (1st batch) started selling for around €22 (as of November 2025).
Line-up: intense, high‑energy hard techno, with Kruelty and Neek already confirmed. More artists will be announced soon.

Sónar Festival – June 18-20
Sónar Festival is undergoing its biggest structural transformation in 2026. The event is abandoning the classic split between Sónar by Day and Sónar by Night. Now, the festival will be a continuous experience, held entirely at a single venue (Fira Gran Via) and accessible with a single ticket.
Known as a pioneering event in music, creativity, and technology, Sónar 2026 will feature six stages (three indoor and three outdoor). Sónar+D, its innovation and digital art arm, will be integrated into the main festival with interactive installations.

When: June 18, 19, and 20, 2026.

Monegros Desert Festival – July 25
Monegros Desert Festival is known for its straightforward format: over 20 hours of non-stop electronic music in the middle of the desert. The event draws tens of thousands of people with its large-scale production and unique setting. The festival brings together big names in techno, house, and even hip-hop across various stages.
Where: In the Monegros desert, near Fraga (Aragón).
When: July 25, 2026.

Dreambeach – TBC
Dreambeach Festival is one of the biggest electronic music events of the Spanish summer. After celebrating its 10th anniversary, the festival changed locations, moving from Villaricos beach to a new venue in Retamar-El Toyo, closer to the city of Almería. The event is known for its large-scale productions and a line-up that covers various genres, ranging from techno and house to EDM, hardstyle, and drum & bass.

When: The 2026 dates have not yet been officially confirmed. The 2025 edition took place in early August (7-10), so a similar schedule is expected.

Brunch Electronik Festival – 7 e 8 de agosto
The Brunch Electronik Festival is the large-scale summer version of the popular daytime party series. Held at Barcelona’s Parc del Fòrum, the event is known for its sustainability, community, and sense of equality, including “Safe Space” areas and anti-harassment protocols. The programming mixes top-tier international DJs with local talent.

Aquasella is one of the most established festivals in Spain’s techno scene, held in a natural setting in the mountains of Asturias, near the River Sella. The event is known for its laid-back atmosphere, offering outdoor activities during the day and parties at night. The festival is strictly for over-18s.

When: 13-16 August 2026
How much: Prices for 2026 are yet to be confirmed (sold in batches). As a reference, 2025 passes started at €80 (without camping). Payment can be made in three instalments (until 15 May), and the event accepts Spain’s Bono Cultural Joven.

Bonus: Brunch Electronik (The ongoing Sunday parties)
You will see the name Brunch Electronik in many places besides the main festival in August. The brand organizes electronic music events throughout the year, known for being open-air daytime parties. They almost always take place on Sundays, starting in the afternoon (around 1 PM or 2 PM) and finishing early (around 10 PM).
The event sometimes brings in big-name international DJs in addition to local artists. Beyond the music, there is always an area with food trucks and a market featuring independent brands and designers. As a curiosity, the Barcelona edition offers Petit Brunch, a dedicated space for families with children’s activities.
Where: In various cities across Spain. The main ones are Madrid, Barcelona, Málaga, and Ibiza. The venues are always outdoors, such as parks or open-air auditoriums. The brand also organizes editions in other countries like Lisbon, Paris, and Brazil.
When: They take place during the good-weather season (spring, summer, and autumn). There are no regular editions during the winter.
How much: The price varies greatly depending on the artist and city, but an expected price range for tickets starts around €20 to €35 for the first batches.
Tickets: Tickets are sold separately for each Sunday and sell out well in advance. It is not possible to buy at the door. It is essential to plan and buy online as soon as the line-up is announced.
